SERVICES
Review management for DoorDash and Uber Eats
We watch your reviews every day, reply inside each app's window with an offer that brings the customer back, flag low reviews and bad streaks to you, and raise the share of customers who leave a review at all. It's for restaurants whose rating or review count is holding back orders. You end up with more reviews, a steadier rating, and replies that turn into repeat orders.
WHY IT MATTERS
Do reviews really affect DoorDash and Uber Eats sales?
Yes. Campaigns and ads get you seen, but whether a customer orders comes down to trust: your price, your photos, your rating and how many reviews sit behind it. Our rule of thumb is that 4.5 stars with 100+ reviews is the point where a new customer stops hesitating.
"If you have 1,000 reviews and a 4.2, that's an average store. But if you have 150 reviews and a 4.5, that basically means customers are happy."
Hassan Shaikh, founder
Reviews also feed the algorithm. Few errors, few bad reviews and a steady rating keep the apps pushing your store. A run of low reviews does the opposite, which is why we watch for streaks, not just single reviews. More in how ratings affect your delivery sales.

THE REVIEW LOOP
How does replying to reviews bring customers back?
A reply with an offer lands on the customer's phone. On Uber Eats, Uber says your reply shows as a push notification, an in-app banner and on your storefront. That's a free reminder to order again, sent to someone who just ordered from you.

"Giving them an offer or replying to the review acts as a de facto push notification."
Hassan Shaikh, founder
HOW WE DO IT
From the first audit to a steady stream of reviews
Same playbook every time, tuned to where your store is starting from.
Audit where you stand
Rating, review count and review rate on each app, recent low reviews and their themes, and whether anyone has been replying.
Set a review goal
A monthly target for review count and review rate that sits in your report next to sales and payout.
Reply every day, with the right offer
DoorDash gives you up to seven days to reply, and Uber Eats a little longer. We don't wait. The wording reads as a thank-you, not a payment for a review, so replies don't get caught by the platforms' filters.
Raise the review rate
Most customers get asked to rate the courier first. "When you're leaving a review, you're competing against leaving a review for the courier." A card inside the bag fixes that.
Pace offers to your stage
A new store needs reviews fast, so we push harder early. Once you're past about 100 reviews, we taper the card program and keep replies going.
Triage, flag and escalate
Complaints get sorted into taste, price and speed, then passed to you without blame. Patterns and review bombs go to the platform reps with the evidence.
THE BAG CARD
What makes a review card work?
It's a small card or sticker inside the bag: "Leave us a review and get $5 off your next order." The details matter more than the design.
Make it platform-specific. An Uber Eats customer should see Uber Eats on the card. Put it inside the bag, not on the outside. Skip the QR code. It can't open the review page for that customer's order, so it adds a step and loses people. Handwritten round stickers work. Printed cards run about a dollar each.
Run it until you have about 100 reviews on that app, then taper. Review rates fall naturally as more of your orders come from regulars, who have already reviewed you. More tactics in how to get your first 100 reviews.
WHAT WE TRACK
The review numbers we report on
Review count
New reviews by platform this month, against the month's goal.
Review rate
Reviews divided by orders. 3 to 6% is typical, 8 to 10% is healthy, and 12 to 16% is what we see with bag cards.
Rating and trend
Your star rating and which way it's heading. Uber Eats weights the last 90 days most.
Low reviews and streaks
1 to 3 stars and thumbs-down reviews, and whether several are landing in the same week.
Reply coverage
How many reviews got a reply inside the window, by platform.
Offers redeemed and return
Review offers used and the sales they brought back. 3 to 8 times the cost is typical.
Complaint themes
Taste, price, speed, missing or wrong items. The themes tell you where to look first.
Reviews tied to errors
Low reviews matched to error charges on the same order, so ops issues show up in one place.
Star mix
The spread of 5, 4 and low ratings, including whether one customer is skewing the picture.

ONE PLAN
Review management inside a plan built for sales
You can buy review handling on its own. Software like Marqii monitors reviews across Google, Yelp and the delivery apps, and other tools write AI replies across DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. Those tools focus on reviews. We fold reviews into the same plan that runs your campaigns, menu, disputes and reporting, so the reply strategy and the sales strategy come from one place.
A separate review tool
- Monitoring and replies, often AI-written, priced per location
- Reports on reviews, not on sales or payout
- Doesn't touch campaigns, menu, pricing or error disputes
- Another login and another bill next to whoever runs your apps
One Blender Digital plan
- Replies, bag cards, alerts and review goals, handled by people
- Low reviews linked to error charges and kitchen patterns
- Review offers planned alongside your other campaigns, so they don't stack against your payout
- One provider for the whole channel, starting at $1,030 a month on a 6-month program
FAQ
Questions about review management
How do you get more reviews on DoorDash and Uber Eats?
Ask at the right moment, inside the bag. A platform-specific card that offers a discount on the next order for leaving a review works far better than waiting. Then reply to every review with an offer, so reviewing feels worth it. At one coffee bar in New Jersey, a printed card took Uber Eats reviews from 2 to 24 in a month (Feb to Mar 2026).
Should restaurants reply to every DoorDash and Uber Eats review?
Yes, including the good ones. On Uber Eats, Uber says customers see your reply as a push notification, an in-app banner and on your storefront. A reply with a small offer attached is one of the cheapest ways to bring a customer back. DoorDash gives you up to seven days to reply, so speed matters.
Can you get bad reviews removed?
Usually not. The platforms don't remove reviews from genuine buyers. What we can do is document a pattern, like one customer leaving a string of one-star reviews, and take it to the platform's reps. In one case the customer was blocked from ordering at the store. The reviews stayed up.
How is this different from a review tool like Marqii?
Marqii is software for listings, menus and reviews across Google, Yelp and 70+ other sites. Its paid plans also monitor DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub reviews, it publishes per-location pricing on annual contracts, and it sells managed review replies as an add-on. It suits owners who want one dashboard for their whole online presence.
We're a service rather than software, and reviews are one part of a plan aimed at your delivery sales and payout. The team that reads your reviews also runs your campaigns, prepares your disputes and reports against your monthly goals.
Do I still need you if Uber Eats can auto-reply to reviews?
Uber Eats Manager does let you automate replies by rating, customer type and order size, and for some clients we set that up. Automation covers the reply. It doesn't spot a run of low reviews, connect a complaint to an error charge, raise your review rate, or tell you which offer is paying off. DoorDash replies are still manual.
Is your rating holding back your orders?
Book a free 30-minute call. We'll look at your rating, review count and review rate on each app and tell you what we'd change first.
